These Terms govern your use of servicepaws.ca and of Service Paws’ certification, registry, and verification services. By using the website or our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
About Service Paws
Service Paws is a service dog certification service operated by Paws Collective Corp. (“Service Paws”, “we”, “us”), an independent, private organization. We are not a government agency, and our certification is not a government license or registration. References to an “official” registry mean the authoritative record maintained by Service Paws.
What certification means — and does not
Our certification and registry document that a dog has been trained and assessed through our program. They do not, by themselves, grant any legal right of access. Public-access rights for service dogs are established by federal, provincial or state, and national laws that vary by location and change over time. Whether a particular business, airline, landlord, or authority must admit a dog is determined by those laws and the individual’s circumstances — not by our card or certificate.
You are responsible for knowing and following the laws that apply where you are and where you travel. Nothing on this website or in our documents is legal advice.
No guarantee of access
We do not and cannot guarantee that any airline, business, or other party will grant access based on a Service Paws certification, ID card, certificate, or letter. Airlines and other organizations set their own requirements.
Use of the website and verification tools
You may use the registration lookup and verification pages to confirm a certification. You may not use automated means to harvest data from the registry, attempt to access non-public information, interfere with the website’s operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
ID cards, certificates, and letters
ID cards, certificates, and attestation letters remain associated with the certification we issue. They may not be altered, forged, copied for misuse, or transferred to another dog or handler. Misrepresenting a dog’s certification, or presenting a document for a dog that is not the certified dog, is prohibited and may be unlawful.
We may suspend or revoke a certification and its documents at any time — including for inaccurate information, misuse, or conduct inconsistent with these Terms. Revoked certifications are shown as REVOKED on the registry.
Accuracy of information
You agree to provide accurate, complete information for certification and to keep it current. We rely on that information and may correct, suspend, or revoke a certification if it is inaccurate.
Intellectual property
The Service Paws name, logo, seal, website content, and document designs are owned by Service Paws and may not be used without permission — except that an issued card, certificate, or letter may be used for its intended purpose.
Disclaimers
The website and services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Service Paws is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any denial of access, travel disruption, or other loss arising from reliance on a certification or document or from use of the website. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the certification at issue.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Service Paws against claims arising from your misuse of a certification or document, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and forms part of these Terms.
